MAL Anime Watching Challenge 2023: Introduction Chapter Plan

Well this year I want to take part in the My Anime List 2023 Anime Watching Challenge. I think it will be a great way to explore new and interesting anime I probably wouldn’t otherwise watch. They divided up the challenge into multiple routes with different choices to complete it. Sort of like a visual novel. So this first little part will be for the first 10 to 15 items which are what they call the Introduction section. So according to the instructions I’m supposed to do 10 out of the 15 choices before I move on to the routes. So those are the 15 items and now I want to talk about which 10 I’m going to pick and a few anime choices that should satisfy them.

1. Watch an anime with 20 or more episodes that are 16 minutes or more – So just a full length 2 cour series. I’m going to pick something with 26 episodes so I can get a decent show without an excessive amount of episodes. Okay so I’ve got 3 choices for this one. Akatsuki no Yona (24 episodes), Strawberry Panic (26 episodes), and Mai-Hime (26 episodes) COMPLETED 2/3
2. Watch an anime by a studio with 5 – 50 anime in MAL’s database ANIME_TITLE [Studio:  ] – So this one wants a prolific studio. Or at least one with a bit of history behind them. So 3 more choices. Gun x Sword by AIC Asta (33 anime), Slow Loop by Connect (22 anime), Jormungand by White Fox (48 anime) COMPLETED 2/22
3.
